In Poland there is a shortage of investment land and the largest urban markets are saturated in many categories. Yet there are still large agglomerations with, for example, only one budget chain hotel. Hence, the trend for the future is to invest in chain hostels (an unexplored market), extended stay hotels, resorts and health-oriented tourism – and the pandemic period should not hamper their development, as it may realistically contribute to perpetuating the supply gap in this investment segment.
